Possible funding for the care
We also support families whose funding comes from public bodies, health funds, or insurance.
We provide nursing-care services to clients whose funding comes from the National Insurance Institute, the Foundation for the Benefit of Holocaust Victims, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Defense, the health funds, insurance companies, and other bodies.
Each body sets its own rules. The long-term care benefit, for example, is not the same thing as a permit to employ a foreign worker. The branch can help clarify which path is relevant, but it does not grant eligibility in place of the authority.
- There is no single price list, and no promise that a particular body will fund the care.
- A person who employs a foreign caregiver must report the worker and pay National Insurance contributions, even without a benefit.
