How to get started
Six steps from the first call to ongoing support. No promised timetable.
- 1
A call with the branch
Tell the branch briefly what is happening, where the person lives, and whether there is already a benefit or a permit. Medical documents should not be sent through the website.
- 2
Which procedure applies
We look at whether the question is about the nursing benefit, a permit, or placement after a permit. The decision is not made on the call.
- 3
Filing the application
We help with the forms, the documents, the fee, and follow-up with the permits unit. The approval is also mailed to the patient.
- 4
Screening and matching
After a permit, a worker from abroad or someone already in Israel can be placed. A representative comes to the home for the match.
- 5
Settling in
Getting acquainted takes time. The family is supported until the worker has settled in, and the match should not be judged immediately.
- 6
Ongoing support
We remain available during the employment, with social workers, field staff, and the branches.
