About Yad Harutzim
A caregiving bureau that supports families employing a foreign caregiver, with branches in Ashkelon, Tel Aviv, and Beer Sheva.
Yad Harutzim is a bureau in the caregiving sector. It was established to help with the employment of a foreign caregiver, and to support people who have difficulty with daily function and remain at home.
Yad Harutzim is a bureau approved by the Population and Immigration Authority. We stay with the employer for the whole employment, including after a worker is found. A private bureau in this sector works under the authority’s procedure 9.2.0001.
We have a pool of hundreds of foreign workers trained for caregiving, and agreements with overseas staffing companies for placement. With those companies we carry out screening, medical checks, and training in the country of origin, including basic Hebrew words and sentences, before arrival in Israel. After a permit, a worker from abroad or a worker already in Israel can be placed. Availability changes, and a call is how we see who fits now.
Who is with you
Our team includes social workers, field staff, branch managers, and clerks. The support is supervised by social workers.
Where to turn
We support families across the country. You can call the branches in Ashkelon, Tel Aviv, and Beer Sheva, or write by email and Telegram.
What guides the work
We make the bureaucracy understandable, choose a match carefully, and stay with the patient and the family. Our success is a placement that fits the home.
The limits of the service
- The authority decides eligibility. Yad Harutzim does not.
- We are not a clinic and not an emergency service. In an urgent medical situation, call Magen David Adom or the health fund.
- This enquiry is for families. There are no caregiver vacancies here.
- There is no single price list, and no promised waiting time.
