Ending employment and permanent or temporary replacement
Guidance on ending employment lawfully, reporting to the Authority, referral for the final settlement, and a replacement or stand-in caregiver.
What we do:
- We guide the family through a lawful end of employment: resignation, dismissal, or the patient's death.
- We help report the end of employment to the Population and Immigration Authority.
- We refer the family to a qualified professional for the final settlement and the lawful end of the employment relationship.
- We help tell the caregiver about the duty to report to the bureau within 7 days.
- We help place a replacement caregiver when one is needed, as soon as that is possible.
- We help place a stand-in when the regular caregiver leaves for a home-country visit, from the pool of available, lawful caregivers already in Israel.
